A Walk To Remember

Walking on the beach, into your arms let me reach
Let me rest myself in them, share your warmth forever
Soft sand caressing feet, strong waves seducing the beach
Bathing in golden hues, the cold breeze moving us closer

A million unspoken words shared in a silent walk
Grieves and secrets thrown away in deep blue waters
Dreams and passions shared and unlocked under the dock
Binding our hearts, like the ships that share anchors

Laying down on the sand, tucking away peaceful moments
Staring at the twinkling stars, with not a worry in mind
Wonders that a warm hug can do, feelings a gentle tug cements
The golden sky looking mischievous, secrets to unravel treasures to find

To the intense currents of waves, the warm beach bows
To the questions that eyes pose, the answers a smile gives
To the answers that smile gives, a response in eyes glows
Feeling like an intruder, the sun takes our leave

Let the sun shy away; let the time stop for eternity
Let the candles melt away, let the sand swish under,
Let the world dissolve, leaving us in beautiful serenity
Let us lose each other, only to find in each other

Two Minutes

This post has been published by me as a part of the Blog-a-Ton 29; the 29th Edition of the online marathon of Bloggers; where we decide and we write. To be part of the next edition, visit and start following Blog-a-Ton. The topic for this month is 'TWO MINUTES'

.
Just those two minutes of your time
When you spare a minute from your monotonous mime
Give her a hug and give her a peck
Before you leave for work at speed of break neck

Just two minutes of your time
When you spare and listen to her first rhyme
She recites with her naughty eyes and dimpled smiles
Nothing else can give you such pleasure for miles

Just those two minutes of your time
When you help the old man with a dime
The gratitude in his heart for his meal is set
Tears in his eyes, for him you are an angel he just met

Just those two minutes of your time
When you talk to almighty before your bedtime
The peace it gives you, the way it settles your mind
You drift in to a deep sleep, from stress you unwind

Just those two minutes of your time
We never realize it value for longtime
In this hectic world when time flies away
Spare those two minutes for loved ones come what may

Share with us, when did you last spend your 2 minutes on something that touched someone !!
