Black Swan

The black swan in you, where does it hide
Conquering your senses, stirring up desires
Taking you on a ride, not a rule does it abide
Without your knowledge, to a new you it transpires

Does the white swan in you know of the alter
Or have you hidden it like skeletons in closet
Is it the power that fuels it or the passion?
Or is it the mysterious dark with forbidden pleasures

Oh the power of power how tempting indeed
To hide and play keep them confounded
Let them wonder what lies beneath the facade
In the name of game, are they leading or being lead

Who are you deep inside the layers?
Who are you amidst all those fake feathers
Writer of the play or just one of the actors
A part of vicious circle or are you its center

You might fool the world with all your white flock
Don’t you enjoy deep down the highs of the black
Oh don’t you deny, for i know your deepest secrets
Right from your shrewd moves to the darkest minutes

You might wonder who is the one that writes
Which alter is it the black or the white
Well, it is the white laying out the truth before you
Or is it the black throwing a challenge at you?
