Melt Away

Melt away now, don’t make me wait any longer
Over a year I have pined, don’t tease anymore
Night and day, pour your love on me all the way
Storm on me, don’t stop come what may
Oblivious to the world, as you flow from peaks to alleys
Oh, how I love the way you settle down in the valleys
Never did I need you more, never this burning desire
Raging thunder bolts take on me and put off the fire
As you merge in to my streams, let us flow for an eon
Into realms of dark and deep, as deep as the ocean
Nurturing my wounds and caressing my soul
Satiate me and yet again, make me whole

-          Yours forever
Earth
Acrostic Poetry is where the first letter of each line spells a word, usually the subject of the poem or the title.

An attempt at acrostic poetry, comments and suggestions most welcome
